London Delights

With Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament as its icons, London is one of the world's most-visited cities. But the city has much more to offer than its fair share of must-see sights.

London Delights

For those of you who want to dig deeper than the average tourist we show you some special places apart from the throng of camera-clickers. From the greatest book store experience ever to the hottest lifestyle hotel blending groundbreaking innovation, great design and outstanding dining - these hidden gems are waiting to be uncovered.

Shoe Heaven at Harrods

Harrod’s Shoe Heaven is the ultimate shoe closet fantasy, with a unique layout and design that showcases more than 50 designer women’s shoe brands. We love to wander through the corridors connecting the series of 17 glamourous show boutiques, feeling inspired to one day create something as luxurious and heavenly as this retail space.

The London Edition - Berner’s Tavern - The Basement

Just off Oxford Street lies one of London’s most stylish hotspots. With its grand foyer, The London Edition is a beautiful juxtaposition of late Baroque architecture with modern art installations. A hotel, but also a great place to socialise, the venue’s visitors can expect to rub shoulders with celebrities, designers and other recognisable faces. Berner’s Tavern, its glamorous restaurant, is studded up to the ceiling in an array of artworks. Featuring beautiful dishes created by expert hands, the restaurant is a feast for the eye and is, in our opinion, the most stylish place to be in London. However, the party doesn’t stop there. Head down to the stylish nightclub, The Basement, and see some of your favourite up-and-coming music artists and DJs performing beneath the hotel. We enjoy cocktails created by their talented bartenders; a night out here is always memorable.

Foyle’s Bookshop

With the smell of fresh, new books in the air, Foyle’s Bookshop has recently had a brand and image change, making it one of London’s most appealing book retail spaces. Located in the old Central St. Martin’s School of Art and Design, the store space has a Scandinavian feel with its natural woods and smooth white finishes. Thousands of books and magazines are beautifully displayed, perfect for browsing and finding something special. Its shelves hold an array of the latest design magazines and books from independent publishing houses. We love this store because of its large size, unique reads and contemporary design. It keeps us up-to-date with design, fashion, retail and so much more.
