Hungry for fresh organic comfort food? Try this takeaway restaurant menu from breakfast to dinner.
Not an ordinary restaurant, since we definitely have too much of them in Milan, nor an ordinary takeaway, since we tend to associate it with a doubtful quality: Lattughino is a culinary concept store, interesting to visit and tasty to try.
Located in the Navigli district, where the city begins leaving place to countries and breathtaking sunsets, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing break after an exhausting day working, shopping, or simply enjoying the city: no confusion here, and no tourism.
The background is minimal, in the shades of white: white is almost everywhere indeed, also on the sofas and the armchairs you can sit on to eat. In the middle of the room, the main characters: a red laquered chandelier, a little baroque and very fashionable, and a wall sized blackboard, helping you to choose what to order.
Salads, sandwiches, bocadillos, soups, rice… only fresh and organic food from breakfast to dinner.
You can decide whether to eat in or, if really shattered (or too lazy?), to order -by mail or phone- an home dinner: fresh comfort food will be at your place in a while, wherever you do live in town. In case of home delivery, take a look at the packaging: the box containing your meal can be easily transformed into a biodegradable placemat.
Forget the idea of healthy food as flavorless: oil and other dressings are really appreciated by Lattughino, and combined in peculiar mix, but always put apart so that you can match it with your personal taste. In fact, everything seems to be tailored here: tireless worker? You can order a meeting size tray direclty at your office. Always on a diet? Detox diet at home is your answer: everyday they will ring at your doorbell with your detician recommended lunch ready to eat. USA dreamer? Saturday morning brunch suits you.
