Daikanyama T-Site

This bookstore sells new and vintage books, movies and DVDs, and features a reading lounge and other facilities. The facade, by Klein Dytham Architecture, is made up of myriad interwoven T-shapes in a nod to featured retailer Tsutaya. In addition to this masterfully subtle branding, the store is innovative in the sense that it is not just somewhere to shop; it’s also a place to spend time.

BEST DRINKS

Starbucks Meguro

Specially designed to fit with the local Japanese setting,  Starbucks Meguro adopts the atmosphere of a traditional tearoom; it displays traditional Japanese paintings, has partitions like shoji sliding doors, and also sells Japanese ceramic cups.
